Art Deco Girl Cards - No Wonder They're Happy
1927 Sheet Music with Ukulele Arrangement
The front of our save the date postcard is a piece of vintage sheet music (found on eBay for around $2-$7), that I had scanned with a high-resolution scanner at Kinko's (it was too big to fit on our home scanner.) The back was just done in Word, in a pretty font I found...I think it was called "HutsutRalston"
Then we used Vistaprint.com for the layout and printing. I think we paid about $80 for 250 cards...not bad! Vistaprint is a good friend to the DIY-er. (check the tutorial for printing with vistaprint)
We also DIY'd our invites; I don't have a sample now, but I'd be happy to send you one once I scan them. They were made using graphics I found in a French translation of "The Owl and the Pussycat" from the '60's, and we got a ton of compliments on them.
Back of the Postcard
We had fun making these cards.
