Make Simple Wedding Invitations
Jordan took the time to make her own beautiful invitations in shades of green, orange and crisp white. There are minimal embellishments and the wedding information was printed with an inkjet printer, something that most of us have at home. Jordan loves the simplicity of her homemade wedding invitations, the elegant shapes, beautiful fonts, and bold colors.

1. Prepare top layer
The top card layer is made from top notes or Bracket cards. These are cut with a sizzix die cut machine that paper crafters use. You can by them in packs of pre-cut cards from Ebay or Etsy.
I laid out the text in Microsoft Word and after a few test prints to make sure everything was aligned correctly I printed directly on to the cards with my home inkjet printer. I could feed the card through the adjustable feeder at the back.
2. Base Layer
I bought 8.5" x 11" sheets of the Swiss Dot Bazzill card stock, cut them down to 5" x 7" and rounded the corners with the corner punch.
I used double-sided tape to secure the ribbon to the card (starting and finishing the ribbon on the 'face up' side that will be hidden by the layer on top)
I then used more double-sided tape to secure the top printed layer to the cardstock.
3. RSVP card and small website card
For the RSVP card and the website card, I designed them in Word and then had them printed on 100lb cardstock postcards/business cards by Vista Print. They always have lots of deals for postcards and business cards (see current Vistaprint deals) I rounded their corners and used a heart hole punch on the webcards so I could tie it all together. And... ta da!
