Make Rugby League Invitations
If you are a fan of the Aussie NRL, or the Super League then you will be happy to know we have a bunch of DIY invitation ideas for a footy themed party. Great if you want to make something with a touch of personality rather than purchase a standard run of the mill invitation from a store.
I actually don't think that I have seen many footy invites in the local shops that will suit a footballers party.

Rugby League invitation ideas
Making your party invitation in team colors is a good way to star
make a ticket invitation - Sports ticket invites are always popular. Use microsoft excel to make an a cool ticket. You can find more details on making tickets for rugby league and other sports here
Rugby ball shaped invitation - Fold a piece of white rectangular shaped card in half. With a pair of scissors, round each of the four corners to create an oval shape like that of a ball. Draw faux ball stiching on the fron with a black marker (use a real ball as a guide)
Write your party details in the center of the opened card. Alternatively you may print off your party details on to a piece of card or paper small enough so that it can be pasted into the center.
Playing jersey invitation - Cut out a flat card in the shape of a basic playing jersey. Use your childs favourite playing number or their age right in the center. Write your childs name above the number and the party details below. very cute.
Clipart - find clipart of your favourite teams logo or mascot. There are plenty of websites online where you can find football related clip art for free.
Australian NRL Teams and team colors
Make your invitations in your teams favourite colors. We have a list of all the teams from the Australian National Rugby League competition and their team colors in RGB format so you can easily make your invites with your computer software. Note that the colors are approximates and may need some adjusting to suit your tastes.
