Homemade Fairy Invitations

Fairy party invitation ideas

Fairies love flowers. Make a Pixie Flower invitation from construction card cut into the shape of a flower head and the party information at its center, a green pipe cleaner for the stalk and wide green ribbon tied around the pipe cleaner for the leaves.

Fairy wand invitations with cut out stars on a thin dowel stick. Birthday party info can be printed on to the star. Tie on some thin ribbon on to the stick for a cool wand. Can also be lollipop wand initiations

Spice up your invitations with glitter, wings, birds and butterflies. Add outdoor accents like twigs, moss, dried flowers and bits of tree bark. Add some fairy dust (aka loose glitter) to your invitation cards for a surprise for the recipient.

Dress the birthday girl in her favorite fairy costume, take a photo and create an invite in MS Word or similar program. Add the party details and print when you're done.

Make Toadstool invitation cards. Cut out the shape of a toadstool from colored cardboard. Cut out a arched door from a coordinating color of card. position and glue the door on to the card down one side so that when the door opens party details are revealed.

Buy a gorgeous fairy rubber stamp and ink from a craft store or scrapbook shop. Stamp the image onto the front of a folding card and put the party details on the inside.
