Housewarming Invitations
If you are hosting a house warming or open house party to welcome your friends and family into your new home you will need to consider sending out invitations. Wondering how you can possibly create your own unique invitations with a personal touch? Read on.
Embellishment ideas
Some simple embellishment ideas for use on your invites include ribbon, stickers, charms, rubber stamping or computer clip art. Imagery that will work great with a housewarming theme would be:
keys, a house, a letter box, street sign, a map, moving boxes or moving truck, the front door of a house, a photo of your new house, a welcome mat, your street number.
Photo Invite
Take your open house invitations to the next level and include a photo. Maybe the family might pose in front of the house standing around the welcome mat or holding up a welcome sign. Take a picture of you sitting on your front step with the front door in view or by your letter box.
Last of all, be sure to include directions to your little shin dig. It would not be good karma for the guests to lose their way to your home. If you need some inspiration check out our invitation wording ideas for a housewarming
