Graduation Thank You Cards
I graduated from college with a teaching degree so when I thought that I would make my own homemade thank you cards I figured it would be great if they were teacher themed as well.
Supplies
-
Premade cards and black card stock
-
Stamps and ink
-
Ribbon
-
brads
-
Scisors, adhesive etc
Step one
First of all I went to Michaels and purchased some pre-made cards in light blue and some cards in a brown color. I also bought some yellow ribbon at Michaels, they have mini rolls that you can buy that are very handy. I attached the yellow ribbon across the front of the card (you can use glue or double sided tape)
Step two
I then stamped my teacher bella stamp from (stampingbella.com) and then colored it in with water color pencils.
Step three
I then stamped thank you with black ink on to a green sheet of paper using one of the cheap dollar stamps I also got at Michaels. I trimmed around the 'Thank You' to stick to the card.
Step four
I then cut black paper to fit the stamped images and glued the
images to the black set. I stuck a couple of brads to the corners of the black
sheets and then glued the sheet to the front of the card centered on the
ribbon.
Done!
Everyone loved these and these were the first cards that I have ever made so I know you can make them even better... go ahead and give it a shot.. They could also be altered into a thank you for a childs teacher. :)
