Elephant Baby Shower Invitations
Animals themes are very popular with baby showers, they are cute and often gender neutral which makes them perfect for the mom who is expecting a surprise when little bub is born. Favorite animal themes are monkeys, giraffes and elephants - jungle themed animals.
Ruby made this very cute little elephant invitation for her baby shower. She used a few different scrapbooking gadgets to create her card, you may not have access to these tools yourself - but you can improvise with basic everyday craft tools.
The main elements and steps that she took to make this invitation are as follows

Green card for the base - it has been embossed with the cuttlebug embossing folder to give it texture

The scalloped mat was cut with a Cricut.

The elephant accent was cut with Sizzix Elephant die and cutting tool (you can find pre cut elephants and stickers online at ebay or at a craft store)

Fiskars border punches were used to cut the two borders from patterned paper and adhered along the right hand side

The flower is an EK success Flower punch

The tag was cut with Martha Stewart Tag punch
